Musical Director

 

 

The Choir was originally formed in 1896 under the name of the Northampton Musical Society.

 

Graham Mayo was the Conductor of the choir from 1963 to 2005. Christopher Mabley has been the Musical Director since 2005.

 

The choir is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 257398). Members of the choir pay an annual subscription, which goes towards the running of the choir. Money is also raised from sponsorship, and through a patron's scheme.

 

The choir meets weekly for rehearsals, and puts on at least one concert each term.
